A Boy who is a citizen of India and who as completed 10 years but not 17 years of age is eligible to become a Scout. The Scout Motto is –“Be-Prepared”. The Unit Leader is called Scout Master who is running the Troop. The minimum number in a Troop is 12 and maximum is 32. Scouting offers youth and adults the opportunity to experience quality, fun and rewarding challenges, adventures and friendships. Through developing life skills such as self-discipline, leadership and teamwork, members grow in confidence and self-esteem. They are able to extend their horizons through exciting activities such as camping, expeditions and community challenges. Total 53569 Scouts are there in our State. There are 1952 Scout Troops registered as Open and Sponsored Groups.
